Graphic identity for the art prize “Kunstpreis junger westen”

The art prize “Kunstpreis junger westen” has been awarded by the city of Recklinghausen since 1948 as a funding prize for visual arts. It is reminiscent of the artist group “junger westen” founded in Recklinghausen in 1947. The art prize is offered for sculpture and installation (Skultpur, Plastik und Installation).

The graphic motif is based on a sculpture by the art group and draws a link to the obligatory bouquet of flowers that is presented to the winner. We have generated a spring-like color world for the art prize competition in spring 2023. The promotion of the final exhibition, which took place at the end of the year, uses autumnal tones. The colors of the catalog are kept cool and wintery.
