“Scaffold NET 50” is the name of a fabric, which is fixed to a facade of abandoned or rundown buildings to save people from parts falling down on the street. The book shows a collection of buildings in Leipzig, that are all covered with this blue fabric. The fabric does not always cover the entire building. Depending on the state of the facade, there is sometimes just a small part of it covered. In this way different forms of blue fabric are occuring in the city scape. The inner section of the book shows just these blue forms, seperated from the house itself. On the back cover you can find an index of all houses. We decided to print the pictures on thin 60g paper, so that the original effect of shining through is adopted to the publication. The cover is made out of the original fabric.
