The catalog documents Solweig’s exhibition at the Kunstverein Heilbronn, which is the first extensive presentation of her work in an institution to date. In her exhibition works on canvas and a glass painting on the large window front of the Kunstverein are exhibited. 

Solweig de Barry’s glass painting opens up the possibility of extend­ing two-dimensional painting into the space, work­ing with reflections and repetitions, while inte­grating the movement of the sun and the light.

In addition to classic exhibition views, the catalog shows our photographs that document the movement of the projections caused by sunlight.

The design concept of the catalog adapts the principle of painting on the window front of the Kunstverein. Paintings on tracing paper run through the publication. Similar to the paintings on the window front, the shadows cast by the paintings are integrated. Together with Solweig de Barry, we photographically staged her glass paintings, including their shadows manipulated by light.
